Day1: Torugat Pass - Kashgar
Crossing Torugat Pass one of important on the Silk Road today. We cross over to China and our guide would meet you at Tourgate pass customs clearing and then transfer to head for the Silk Road centre of Kashgar.
Day 2: Kashgar
Begin your discovery with visits to the China's largest Mosque, Id Kah (built in 1442), the Abakh Hoja Tomb (built in 1640), it is reminiscent of the Central Asian artistic style of Samarkand Isfahan. The site is also known as the Xiang Fei (Fragrant Concubine) Tomb in the memory of Abakh Khoja's granddaughter, Iparhan, who was the Fragrant Concubine of Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. Roam through the colorful national streets full of different workshops making all sorts of handicrafts.
Day 3: Kashgar
As this day is Sunday, you will be very lucky to visit one of the great markets of Central Asia, the traditional Sunday Bazaar, where various Muslim nationalities in colorful costumes arrive by donkey carts, on horseback or on foot, to bargain for animals, fruit, clothing, electronic goods and household items. We'll spend most of the day there immersing ourselves in the activities. It's a photographers paradise as food, animals, cloth goods and metalwork are bought and sold in this vast open-air market. Through our interpreters, we'll learn about the Uyghur people.
Day 4: Kashgar - Yarkand - Kashgar
Yarkand lies to the southeast of Kashgar. We explore the Kings Cemetery, visit the western corner of the Taklimakan Desert, ride camels , talk with locals, walk around sand dunes. return to Kashgar in the afternoon.
Day 5: Kashgar - Irkeshtam
After breakfast, driving to Irkeshtam Pass, crossing the China-Kyrgyzstan border, where our Kyrgyzstan agency will meet you.
